THE ART OF STRESS-FREE
Getting Things Done (GTD), a worldwide acclaimed training concept from David Allen, teaches you how to achieve stress-free productivity. The training enables you to structure all the information that comes to you through e-mail, telephone, colleagues, etc. This ensures that you can trust one system, then focus on choosing what to do.
The focus of the training is not time management, but rather, self-management. Within one day, you learn how the system works and how you can apply it to your life, with the primary focus being your work life. In fact, your private life can also become really organized using David Allen’s thoroughly thought-out model.
Do you want to work more productively and experience less stress? The high-impact training Getting Things Done is for you!
FOR WHOM IS Getting Things Done?
Every “knowledge worker” wants to work as effectively as possible with as little stress as possible. The knowledge and skills in GTD help individuals to work productively and focused, without distractions and stress.
Create a productive, stress-free environment by having the whole team use the GTD method, and thereby strengthen the effect of the training.
Within an organization where employees are engaged with the GTD principles, key success factors such as productivity, engagement, and retention improve.
EFFECT OF GETTING THINGS DONE
- LESS STRESS
Smart and effective information management using the GTD system provides you an overview. Then you can shift your focus to what is truly important, and have less stress.
- INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY
By working within the structure of the GTD system, all attention stays focused on the activity at hand, which is a stress-free, productive way of working.
- ATTENTION IN THE RIGHT PLACE
Structuring your activities and information stream ensures that everything is taken care of at the right time and place. This gives you the freedom to do what you’ve decided to do without distractions.
DAVID ALLEN’S GETTING THINGS DONE MODEL
Step 1: CAPTURE: Use a notebook, a voice recorder, e-mail, or a smart phone app to capture 100% of everything that demands your attention.
Step 2: CLARIFY: Take everything which you’ve captured and ask, “Do I need to do something with this?” No? Then throw it away, incubate it, or file it for later. Yes? Decide what is the very next action required.
Step 3: ORGANIZE: Organize your tasks into the right lists so that it’s clear what you’ll need to do at the moment that you’ll need to do it.
Step 4: REFLECT: Do weekly maintenance. Clean up and update your lists, then clear your head.
Step 5: ENGAGE: Simply do. Use your system to do the right task at the right moment.
